Is Fleet Management, vehicle tracking solution?

Yes but vehicle tracking is a fraction of fleet management solution. Fleet management is a complete solution which includes:-

- - Vehicle Movement Tracking.
  - Driver Identification.
  - Driver Behavior Monitoring and Management.
  - Vehicle Fuel Events Monitoring.
  - Fuel Theft solution.
  - Vehicles Anti-Theft Solution (Engine cut-out).

How do I know the best fleet solution for my organization / company?

Depending on your areas of operations, one can opt to go for our GSM ONLY, Pure Satellite or Hybrid solutions.

GSM ONLY UNITS:

Suitable for vehicles operating in cities or areas with strong GSM network reception, because the units purely depend on a functional GSM SIM Card to operate. If your vehicles do not operate for long in areas with no GSM reception, these units have the ability to store information of all events happening while in those areas then avail the reports once back on GSM coverage area(s).

PURE SATELLITE UNITS:

Suitable for vehicles operating long-term in areas with no GSM coverage. These units are always online since they depend on satellite coverage which is available globally.

HYBRID UNITS:

These units use both GSM SIM Cards and Satellite solution. SIM Cards while in areas with strong GSM reception and automatically switches to satellite when in areas without GSM coverage.

For budgeting purposes, one should categorize vehicles as per areas of operation (based on whether there is good GSM reception or not) and get fleet management units which are suitable for them.

Does the fleet management solution offer vehicle fuel events monitoring?

Yes. Once the system is programmed one can be able to see their vehicle fuel events under reports.

Where are your fleet management solutions from?

- - Our GSM solution is from Israel from one of the world leading market players.
  - Our Satellite Solutions are from USA from one of the world leading market players.

Cheap becomes expensive in the long run. To date we have clients who are still using our units purchased 8 years ago (in 2012) when we were beginning operations in South Sudan.

Can I be able to know what my driver is doing?

Yes you can, plus our solution offers you more tools for managing driver behavior. You will be notified via pop ups on computer or SMS during the following incidents:-

- - Over speeding (once you have set a speed limit on the system).
  - Harsh braking.
  - Harsh turning.
  - Harsh acceleration. Among others.

From the route reports you will be able to know where your driver has been.

Actual Case example:

In case your driver/vehicle is wrongly accused of being involved in an accident, system can be able to show whether your vehicle was in that particular location at the mentioned time or not. (Our GSM Only Units offer per minute/Real-time polling)

What happens in case of vehicle theft?

- - It is very important not to resist a carjacking for the safety of the driver.
  - We have installed panic buttons in vehicles where a driver can long press in order to notify their office and Eagle Track control room personnel that they are in a situation of distress.
  - Client’s office should first call the driver who pressed the panic button to establish if they are actually in distress or the button was pressed accidentally. If the driver does not pick calls we will assume it was an actual distress call.
  - Client should make an official communication to Eagle Track Ltd regarding the theft of their vehicle.
  - It is under Eagle Track Limited’s mandate to cut-out the engine of a reported stolen vehicle and engaging relevant authorities in order to commence vehicle recovery process. Eagle Track Ltd has forged a very strong relationship with relevant authorities in the past which has helped us recover our client’s stolen vehicles countrywide. (see client recommendation letters on the Portfolio section of the website)
  - After a stolen vehicle is recovered, the client will be needed to present relevant vehicle documents to the authorities in order to confirm ownership before being handed over the recovered vehicle.

Can I cut-out my own vehicles engine without necessarily notifying Eagle Track Limited?

Engine immobilization is sensitive matter hence the option is not activated on the clients tracking system platform. Accidentally pressing the immobilization button on the platform can cause serious repercussions especially for high speed moving vehicle amongst other reasons.

Only Eagle Track Ltd personnel have the mandate to immobilize engines once proper procedures requiring the action have been passed.
